The Worcester Bosch 87161157540 Flow Sensor Assembly is a genuine Worcester Bosch replacement flow sensor for Greenstar combi boilers. It sits in the boiler’s water pipework and detects when water starts flowing, telling the boiler to switch to hot water mode when a hot tap is opened.

It also works as a safety device, monitoring water flow to protect the boiler. A faulty flow sensor can cause no hot water when a tap is opened, the boiler not firing for hot water, or hot water that cuts in and out.
