The Vaillant 194819 Brass Aqua Sensor is a genuine Vaillant replacement flow sensor for TURBOmax combi boilers. It sits in the boiler’s water pipework and detects when water starts flowing, sending a signal to the boiler’s control board so the burner can safely ignite.

It also works as a safety device, making sure the burner cannot fire when the system is dry or low on water. A faulty aqua sensor can cause no hot water when a tap is opened, hot water that cuts in and out, or the boiler failing to fire.
