Get your Vaillant boiler firing reliably again with the genuine Vaillant 0020073798 Boiler Fan. It is a brand new, original manufacturer replacement fan, supplied in sealed Vaillant packaging.
The fan manages the airflow through the boiler. It draws in the fresh air needed for clean gas combustion and pushes the exhaust gases safely out through the flue. Each time the boiler starts, it checks that the fan is running correctly, and if not, it will not light. A worn fan usually gives warning signs: loud humming, droning or rattling, slow or failed ignition, fan or flue fault codes, and the boiler locking out.
