This is the original manufacturer replacement fan for Vaillant Turbomax Pro and turboTEC boilers, supplied as a complete kit with restrictor rings, heat shield and fixings, so the engineer has everything needed for a proper repair.
The fan controls the airflow through the boiler. It pulls in the fresh air the burner needs to burn gas cleanly, and drives the exhaust gases safely out through the flue. Before every ignition, the boiler confirms the fan is running correctly. If the fan bearings wear or the motor weakens, the boiler will struggle to light or lock out altogether. Look out for a loud humming, droning or rattling noise, failed ignition, flue or fan fault codes, and the boiler cutting out.
