The Interpart 720004701 Automatic Air Vent Kit is a quality replacement auto air vent (AAV) for Baxi boilers, made by Interpart. It automatically releases trapped air from the boiler’s heating circuit, keeping water circulating properly.
The air vent works with a float: when the system is full of water the vent stays closed, and when air builds up the float drops and lets the air escape. A faulty air vent can cause gurgling noises, pressure loss, water dripping from the vent, or pump and overheating faults.
