The Ideal 175896 Sump & Cover Replacement Kit is a genuine Ideal spare part that replaces the condensate sump and cover assembly on compatible Ideal condensing boilers.
In a condensing boiler, the sump collects the acidic condensate from the heat exchanger and guides it to the condensate trap and drain. A cracked, warped or leaking sump, or perished seals, can cause condensate leaks inside the casing, ignition or flue faults and reduced efficiency. A new genuine sump and cover restores a proper seal and keeps the boiler running safely.
