The Baxi 245341 Modulating Gas Valve Kit is a genuine Baxi replacement gas valve, based on the Honeywell VK4105G series. It controls the flow and pressure of gas to the burner, opening and adjusting in response to signals from the boiler’s printed circuit board (PCB).
As a modulating valve, it varies the gas supply to match heating demand rather than simply switching on and off, giving smoother and more efficient burner operation. A faulty gas valve can cause ignition failure, lockouts, flame loss or unstable burner operation.

Installation
This is a gas part and must be fitted by a Gas Safe registered engineer, in accordance with the boiler manufacturer’s instructions. Gas pressure must be checked and set correctly after fitting.
