The Ideal 177925 Pump Head is a genuine Ideal spare part. It is a Grundfos UPM3 15-70 high-efficiency pump head, made by Grundfos for Ideal boilers.
The pump circulates hot water from the boiler through the heat exchanger and around the central heating system. A worn or failing pump head can cause noisy operation, radiators not heating up, boiler overheat or lockout faults, and poor hot water performance. This kit replaces only the pump head (motor), so the existing pump body stays in the boiler and the repair is quicker to complete.
